Online Safety

We all have a responsibility for ensuring children are safe online. The online world creates potential risks for children.

By establishing safer working practice whilst using technology we can reduce the risks for children.

Car Safety

A legal requirement for keeping your child safe whilst in a vehicle is a car seat. It is stated in the law that all children travelling in the front or rear seat of any vehicle must use the correct car seat until they reach 12 years of age or are 135cm tall.

Safe sleeping

It is important that we all understand the safety considerations needed for whilst babies and young children are sleeping. Safer sleep for baby has six easy steps to follow which you can follow anytime you put your child down for a sleep. Please follow this link:

Healthy Start Scheme

Healthy start scheme maybe available for those who are more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under the age of 4. It is there to help with purchasing milk and healthy food.
